I'm sitting here alone with my thoughts.  I do way too much thinking. I've always been like that. I have always thought of things that others maybe overlook or don't see at all.  It doesn't mean they aren't there to begin with, your eyes just have to be open wide.

I've learned a lot this year. Oh, I've lost a lot too, but yes, I've learned in the process.  I have discovered that you can't pull someone into the present, that the truth is easier than a lie, and that life is meant be lived in the present no matter that nowhere is there with you.  My daughter is very much in the present and we all need to take a look at life and love through a childs eyes.

  It is certainly more wonderful and filled with joy this way.  I'm responsible. I know that the future is whatever I make it.  I'm also fully aware that we only get one shot at this.  I have messed it up so far(well, with some decisions not all of them).  I don't plan on being in the dark or miserable for the next 20 years(God willing).  I fully intend to live a life filled with joy.  I found the key and I'm going through the door of self-discovery.  You can come with me or I can just tell you about it as I move along. 

I think laughter is a smile having an orgasm.  Everyone needs to have laughter in their lives.  We all need to jump in a pile of leaves, or roast marshmallows around a campfire.  We need to run and swing on the swing set of our lives.  We go up and down a million times in one day.  Why not grab the ups, focusing on them each day rather than at the end of the day moaning all those down times?

I concentrate on that and the day goes by with a light heartedness that I have never felt before.  I probably did once upon a time in my childhood.  Life is wonderful. I am awesome and what happens next will be another adventure through the world and my life.
